  • Link's adventures really sucked

  • Author: Jamison

  • This game was one of the crappiest games I ever played on the NES. The game goes away from the standard top down view on the zelda games, and goes to a side scroller view.

The graphics were kinda good for its time. One thing I thought was the laziness for the battle graphics. Before you go into a battle, you see two different types of creatures running around. One means easy, one meaning hard. Thing is, they both were easy as hell. At least they could have used one of the enemy’s graphics so we could at least tell wtf we are about to fight.

The music sucked ass. All the songs were basically ten seconds worth of a song and then looped continuously. The music sounded really bad and the sound effects were just as bad. When you mute this game, it becomes 50% better!

The gameplay pretty much sucked with everything else. Just hack and slash your enemies, and the enemies rarely dodged. If they did dodge, then it was basically impossible to ever kill them.

When you had a game over, you were thrown back to the beginning area of the world. Meaning spending 5 minutes of running and hoping not to get killed by the idiot enemies. There is rarely a fairy you can heal from, but like I said you won’t see many.

Overall this game sucks for the series. If you ever see in, ignore it. It’s just a waste of your time. Unless you’re one of those Zelda fan boys, then go ahead and pick it
